Monther Aldwairi
Monther Aldwairi received his BSEE from Jordan University of Science and Technology (J.U.S.T.)
Irbid, JORDAN-in 1998. He worked on developing an online courseware for teaching C/C++, a project
supported in part by UNESCO.
Mr. Aldwairi worked for ARAMEX International until Aug. 2000. As a Tech. Integration Team member,
he was responsible for deploying, maintaining and supporting all software programs used within ARAMEX, he helped in upgrading the company's
world wide network to be compliant with the Y2K. He also helped in developing the company's world class
Intranet, he was responsible for virus defense as well as many other system administration tasks.
He joined North Carolina State University in August 2000 and received his MS degree in Computer
Engineering in Dec 2001. He among others designed and implemented the JITPAC card (an optical network processor for OBS networks). The
high speed network card was part of the JumpStart project and was successfully
deployed in ATDnet in Washington DC.
Currently he is a PhD candidate working under Dr. Paul Franzon in the
area of Network Processor design. His research interests include high speed network processors, and polymorphous computing architectures (PCA).
